The Greene County Fire School (GCFS), supported by the Greene County Fire Chiefs, is committed to providing a realistic, job-oriented and inexpensive training opportunities to emergency service personnel.  The Fire School has been conducted annually for 11 years and has trained over 1,000 emergency responders.  Classes focus on firefighting and rescue operations, officer development, emergency medical services and fire ground tactics.  The Greene County Fire School provides an outstanding training opportunity in a safe environment with proficient instruction.  The Fire School continues to provide continued education for the emergency service professionals of Greene and surrounding counties.
